Piano is my passion and teaching is my life.
I started taking piano lessons at the age of 8. I studied with a wonderful teacher. She nurtured me and taught me to love playing the piano. By the time I got to high school, I knew I wanted to continue studying piano in college and make it my career.
Today, I enjoy teaching students in my private piano studio. I recently retired as the preschool music teacher at Athens Academy. I am the pianist/organist at Tuckston United Methodist Church, a role I have had for over 30 years.
Experience & Professional Affiliations
For the past several summers (2022, 2019 and 2018), Nancy has participated in the Interharmony International Music Festival held in Acqui Terme, Italy. It is an intensive time of private lessons, chamber coaching sessions, practice, and recitals.

She has participated in additional piano studies at Furman University, the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point, and the University of Georgia. She was given the honor of playing the Grieg piano concerto with the UGA orchestra.
